• Pixc: AI Image Editing — Removes backgrounds from your product photos in seconds using AI, so your entire catalog looks clean, consistent, and conversion-ready — no photographer or editing software needed. Also available as a standalone photo editing service for non-Shopify merchants, accessible through a custom dashboard.
• Pixc: Auto Alt Text — Automatically generates and updates alt text for all your product images, improving SEO rankings, image search visibility, and accessibility without the manual work.
• Pixc: AI Lifestyle Photos — Turns plain product shots into lifestyle imagery in a few clicks, helping you showcase products in real-life settings without booking a studio or photoshoot.
• Pixc: Visual Merchandising — Automatically organizes products by color across your collection pages, giving your storefront a polished, visually appealing look that helps shoppers browse and buy.

All apps are available on the Shopify App Store. Our AI Image Editing service is also available for non-Shopify merchants via pixc.com/photo-editing.

Pixc: AI Photo Resize automatically resizes and optimizes all your product photos in bulk for a uniform, professional look across your store. You can choose between Crop or Add Frame resize options and every image is adjusted to match your settings. With AI Extend, you can also intelligently expand product photos to naturally fill the frame — no awkward cropping or empty borders. Once configured, it works in the background to keep every product image consistent and polished.

Yes. The Photo Resize app is free to install and comes with 50 free image resizes so you can try it out before committing to a plan. After the free credits, you can pay as you go ($0.06 per image) or upgrade to one of our monthly plans starting at $5/month.

We offer four flexible pricing options to match your store's volume:

• Free to install — 50 images included; $0.06 per additional image
• Basic — $5/month — 100 images/month; $0.06 per extra
• Pro — $25/month — 1,000 images/month; includes 25 AI Extend credits
• Unlimited — $90/month — Unlimited images; includes 75 AI Extend credits

AI Extend credits can also be purchased separately: $5 for 35 credits, $25 for 200, or $50 for 500.

Yes. The Photo Resize app includes an original image backup so you can restore any image to its original version whenever needed. The free plan includes a 7-day backup, while paid plans offer a 30-day backup window.

Yes, the Photo Resize app can run in the background. You'll need to enable the Auto Resize feature first. Once enabled, the app will automatically resize new product images in the background as they're uploaded to your store, using the dimensions and resize settings you've configured. Set it once, and you won't have to think about it again. (Auto Resize is available on paid monthly plans.)

Pixc: AI Image Editing (formerly Retail Ready Photos) automatically edits your product photos using AI — removing backgrounds and replacing them with a clean white, custom color, or transparent PNG so every image looks consistent across your store. You can also set up uniform image dimensions and borders, and bulk process your entire product catalog in one go.

Yes. The Retail Ready app has been rebuilt as a fully automated AI app. What used to require human editors is now handled instantly by AI — so background removal, edits, and replacements happen in seconds rather than waiting hours or days for manual processing.

The app is free to install with credit-based pricing — pay only for what you use.

• Pay-as-you-go: Credits start at $20 for 10 credits, with bulk discounts as you scale.
• Pixc Member ($79/month): Discounted credit rates, unlimited image storage, up to 5 user accounts, and a 7-day review period.

AI Extend credits can also be purchased separately: $5 for 35 credits, $25 for 200, or $50 for 500.

Since the app is now fully AI-powered, edits are processed instantly — most images are ready in seconds rather than the hours or days required for traditional photo editing services.

Every order includes a review period where you can request adjustments or report issues — 2 days for pay-as-you-go users and 7 days for Pixc Members. Our support team is available through in-app chat or via help.pixc.com to help resolve any concerns.

The app gives you full control over which images get updated. You can choose to "lock" alt text only to images that don't have one yet, or update all images using your preferred format. You can also edit or restore alt text anytime, so any custom alt text you've written manually is never lost without your permission.

Yes. Once enabled, the app runs in the background and automatically optimizes alt text on new product images as they're added to your store. You can also use the Smart Auto-Scan feature to find existing images that are missing alt text, and select specific collections or products to optimize.
